Whitefield’s growth hasn’t come without growing pains. There was backlash recently from the Whitefield residents association in regards to the infrastructure of Whitefield. The roads are blocked, narrow and breaking creating heavy traffic jams.
There is water problem in Whitefield because of overuse of the borewell and reliance on external water supply companies.
The future of Whitefield from a resident point of view looks bleak as most professionals would look to move out of the and to new cities.
